Department: Project Management Office (PMO)

Hours: Full-Time Role: Mon-Fri 09:00 – 17:30
Reporting to: Head of Delivery

The Job Role

The project manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects and small work orders. The project manager will identify project goals, objectives and scope.
Planning, monitoring & documenting tasks throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great team working with a wide range of projects, technologies and customers.

Job purpose

In this exciting role, you will deliver key projects for our valued partners and customers. You will work alongside key stakeholders to initiate, plan, design, execute, and transition each individual project. The project manager will maintain risk logs and implement contingency plans to protect the project and that of the business


Key Responsibilities
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining project plans
  • Identifying resources required and assigning individual responsibilities
  • P&L management associated with the project to track cost against budget
  • Customer meetings & reviews attending customers sites when necessary
  • Providing reports for accurate forecasting of revenue for invoicing purposes
  • Acting as a point of escalation when necessary or requested
  • Ensuring quality standards are met whilst ensuring the key deliverables of the project are delivered to a high standard
  • Coordinating the resources of Cameo to deliver projects effectively.
  • Maintaining change control logs with records and impact assessments of all changes introduced during the project lifecycle.
  • Managing the Service Transition aspects of projects
Additional Information

We are looking for an applicant who has experience in managing data and is competent in following processes. Some technical knowledge is desirable, although extensive training will be provided.

The ideal person for this role will have data analytical skills along with order processing/Implementation experience and have the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, delivering first-class customer service.

Person Specification:




  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the ICT industry.
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience in using industry project toolsets or Excel to manage project delivery
  • Knowledge of sales and billing cycles/processes
  • Excellent understanding of Risk and Issue management with demonstrable practical experience
  • Excellent leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Prince2 certification
  • ITILv4
  • Technical experience and background in delivering large scalable projects working with multiple technology stacks and vendors.
  • APM Project Management  
  • Logistics planning
  • Process improvement, finding ways to improve processes, and developing new processes.
  • Proficient with Visio
  • Responsible for the delivery of multiple projects with high complexity
  • Experience in networking, LAN / WAN & Wi-Fi solutions.

Salary Range
  • Up to £50000 + 5k car allowance
